Ola i ka wai  - Water is life

It starts with our keiki (children)

Where does the idea of bottled alkaline water come from?
Natural alkaline water has been known for centuries for its healing capabilities. Thanks to modern technology, alkaline water is now readily available to consumers who want to engage in a healthier lifestyle.

What does pH mean?
“pH” is the measure of acidity and alkalinity. A neutral pH is 7, as found in standard water. The pH of Aloha Alkalyne water has been ionized to a supercharged 9.5 pH.

Is there an added benefit of a higher pH?
This level of pH can help counterbalance the effects of an acidic diet and will assist the body in balancing and maintaining a healthy pH balance.

What is alkalinity?
The measurement of the ability to absorb acid is known as alkalinity. A liquid will be less acidic the more alkaline it is.

What are electrolytes, and what do they actually do?
Minerals that support a cell’s balance are known as electrolytes. If you drink excessive caffeine or when you sweat, you can suffer a significant loss of electrolytes. Aloha Alkalyne supports rehydration and hydration by replacing all those lost electrolytes.

Is all alkaline water the same?
No, all alkaline waters are not the same and are not created the same way. Some water can naturally contain minerals, while other waters may contain very little, and some contain electrolytes.

Are there any known risks to drinking alkaline water?

Alkaline water is perfectly safe, but is recommended for persons 2 years and older. (Babies are naturally alkaline when born, so it is not recommended to give alkaline water to them.) When in doubt about anything regarding your health or if you have questions before beginning a new diet or lifestyle, always speak with your physician first.

How much water should I drink each day?
Hydration needs vary from person to person. Going by the known standard of drinking 8 ounces of water per day is a good standard to follow, but to get a true number, divide your body weight in half. That is the number of ounces of water you should be drinking each day. For those people who live in warm climates and lead a more active lifestyle, they should drink even more.
